The Allen High School Lacrosse Club is currently seeking a Director of Coaching with proven experience playing and or coaching preferably at the collegiate level minimally at the HS level to help its lacrosse program grow into a strong DII and eventually into a D-I program.

The Allen lacrosse club has a dedicated board and parent base with a solid tradition of lacrosse. We have one of the most supportive parent bases in the state to help with the majority of Club operational duties. We have an established youth feeder program that we would also look to the Director of Coaching to utilize and set direction.

Director of Coaching Duties include but are not limited to:

(1) Hire a staff of like individuals, to assist in attaining goals as set forth by the Board, to include an assistant Varsity Coach, Head JV coach and assistant JV coach. (2) Develop and coach players in order to advance their lacrosse skills, offensive and defensive strategy, on field discipline as well as situational awareness to the advanced level of play required to compete in North Texas (3) Set up practice and game schedule for both varsity and junior varsity. (4) Attend various coaching meetings as necessary (state meeting, district meeting). (5) Incorporate coaching philosophy for team unity and preparation for advanced varsity level play.

We are looking for someone to develop the players in a positive way and provide them the necessary lacrosse acumen to compete at the high level of Lacrosse in North Texas and beyond.

This is a paid position through the parents booster club. The season runs September through May with some additional administrative responsibilities in the off season. Salary: TBD.
